We invented the automatic jar opener, patented it, built the tooling and took it to market. That hands-on experience is what you’re drawing on when you bring us your idea.

“My name is Kristy Pinand. I was introduced to Jesse from Daka through a mutual friend of mine who spoke nothing but amazing things about him. I was in a situation where I needed to find a partner for a product, a product that I wholeheartedly loved and believed in. And my first conversation with Jesse, he matched that passion for the product, and I just knew off the bat he was the right choice. However, never working together before, I really didn’t know what to expect in Jesse. And right away, I could not tell you how more pleasantly surprised I was. Jesse was so responsive. Anytime I emailed him, anytime I reached out, he answered immediately. He also took all of my suggestions even when he didn’t need to. He he listened. He catered to them. He truly was an incredible partner. I look forward to the Cargo Butler being the first of many, many successes with Jesse and his team.”
“I’ve taken advice and gone back and actually made a better product.”

“Hello. My name is Mark Sanders. I’m an engineer and product designer, and I’ve been working with Daka for well over 20 years now, and to be honest, it’s been a really good partnership. They’re really trustworthy partners, and we’ve been through some tough challenges together, some real ups and downs in production and all that sort of thing. But I think we’ve always kept this huge mutual respect and friendship throughout all those ups and downs. From a product design point of view, they’ve set me some really tough challenges, both in terms of product performance and also cost. But to be honest, I’ve really enjoyed those challenges, and even when they’ve come back and said, “Well, actually, Mark, that’s too complex or too expensive. Can you improve it?” I’ve taken advice and gone back and actually made a better product. My partnership with them has involved loads of products — for example, the one-touch openers, including the RoboTwist, which was probably one of the biggest challenges I think I’ve ever had, but a really good challenge, corkscrews and several other projects that possibly didn’t see the light of day or didn’t sell particularly well. Anyway, I hope this gives you a decent background of Daka — a great company to work with, it’s all I can say. So, thanks, Jesse, and your colleagues. Let’s keep the partnership going. Cheers. Mark Sanders, speaking from the UK.”
“I came to Jesse with a product that I was having a difficult time getting sourced for the right cost. DAKA solved that problem and more.”
“Working with Jesse and his team at DAKA has been incredible! They have been the epitome of professionalism. They are quick, thorough, and, most importantly, precise. Even better has been the open lines of communication. I came to Jesse with a product that I was having a difficult time getting sourced for the right cost. DAKA solved that problem and more. Now, in a relatively short period of time, we are ready to launch. I couldn’t be happier.”
A real person. A real product company.
Hi, I’m Jesse. For 33 years, we’ve developed products through Daka — for our own brands and for our clients. OddityOps brings that experience to people with one good idea.
You don’t need to know how factories, tooling or distribution work before you begin. The first step is getting a clearer view of the road ahead.

No. An idea or sketch is enough to start a conversation. A mutual NDA comes before confidential product details.
The Product Reality Check is free. Prototyping, tooling, manufacturing and go-to-market work are later stages with separate scope and costs.
You retain your IP. The mutual NDA and any subsequent development agreement set out the terms before confidential work proceeds.
The purpose is an honest first assessment, including risks and unanswered questions. A Reality Check is not proof of demand or a guarantee of sales.
